Assigned Post Ditto

Write blog about game demo. - Doing it.
How did it turn out or how is it working out?- It's ok I guess, I don't really like it. At all.
How much work did each partner put into the demo. - Originally we each did half. But, me being the control freak I am, I redid everything Paige did when she was absent. I like it better now.
How did the game demo turn out compared to others in your class? - umm, idk. I haven't looked at theirs considering that I've been busy on my own.
Will you get your game completed before the end of the semester? - Nope. Probably not. I don't understand how to do it. I'm so confused. I have barely started, and I've tried everything to understand and I don't...So. No.

Assigned Blog

What is your favorite online game? - Perfect World
Describe the game. - The game is really awesome with alot of stuff to do.
How does it compare to the game you are designing? - Perfect World is way better. My game could never compare, because the school made us make educational games and it is limiting.
How much time did you put into playing video games over Thanksgiving break? - I spent a lot of time playing games. You don't want to know.

Was it hard to make your mini game? What was the best part of this topic? The worst part?

The actual mini game wasn't hard to make. The only issues I had was coding problems; i.e. the codes not working properly. The best part of it was that I actually got it to work and learned some of the basics, and the worst was that none of the instructions actually explained what the codes mean. It would've made coding a lot easier if I knew what the various symbols stand for.

3 Things to help me succeed in Globaloria

Three things to help me be successful in globaloria; the key rules:
1. Actually do your work.
2. Do your work correctly.
3. Make sure your work is done on time, and that you actually did the right work.

Trust me, this works.

Oh, and also have smart friends who will help you when you get stuck!

Questions thing blog we had to do

Okay. So, we are suppose to tell why we think the sites we chose we good and why we chose them. I chose my sites so that people would become more informed about mine and Paige's topic --> pollution: prevention and correction <-- . The sites I chose relate to that, and are all about pollution and such. I am pretty sure this is all I had to write so, until next time.

Genre I may use

So, apparantly I have to blog about which type of game I think I may want to create when I get to create one. I am not totally sure, but I think I might do adventure or strategy. Not sure though. I do know that it won't be crappy like the games that were on there though. But seriously, it will probably be adventure. Maybe it will be both adventure and strategy........

Why I need to protect my info on the internet?

So, this second post is about internet safety; I guess. I think i'm going to make this simple by listing the don't's with lots of commas; you don't post/ list any personal information on the internet. Well, change of plans- not so many commas. But anyways, you shouldn't list any of the following on the internet or give away any of this information: your last name, IM name, phone number, email address, real address, or anything else that links to your personal life. Though this sounds "excessive" and you think "that you will be fine, nobody will bother you" it kindof makes sense. There are alot of internet predators out there and if one of them got ahold of your info, they could do terrible things to you. Like rape. Or kill you. I don't wanna die right now.

First Blog

Ok so I don't really know "what I hope to do in this course". So. What I think I really hope to do in this course is get an A! Hopefully, we will eventually get to making the games. I can't really pick what kind of game I want to make, because they have to be educational. Automatically, educational = boring. Which means my game will suck. I'm excited about knowing how to make a game, because then I'll be able to when I get out of this class. But I'm not scared of anything. It is just a class.
